Wordlessness!

on Tuesday, July 22, 2008

Feng Shui believers hold the lily as an allegorical picture of a plenteous summer and to the Chinese, lily means "Forever in love".
Care Tips: Remove the pollen stamens by pinching them together and pulling them up out of the flower. This prolongs the flower's life as well....

Anyway my friends, as I`m way behind.... I must go and read some blogsites...I hope you`ve all had a lovely day, take care for now.... CIAO!

Hey, SC, Happy WW! Those are pretty flowers. I think it is a universal language that lily means love. In the Bible too!
Thanks for your visit and for watching your step. :-)

Quite lovely.

And I'm glad to know pinching off the pollen buds prolongs the lily's life; I usually do it because they stain my world if I leave them there...

Do you remember the movie Lili, with Leslie Caron? It was made before I was born, but I loved it when I was very young. The flower always reminds me of the song from the movie...

A song of love is a sad song.
